We had an amazing stay here! We had a wedding at the Brown Mountain Beach Resort and this was so conveniently located for a wedding here. We loved having our own private cabin for the weekend. Highly recommend for a private weekend away!

I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to get away from your busy life!!! You do have to travel a little bit if you need a grocery store or out for dinner. Over all the house is wonderful and would definitely stay again.

Michael was great for letting us book a last minute stay and having the cabin ready for us. He communicated with me very fast and efficiently. it was a very nice laid back country setting.

My fiance and I absolutely loved our stay here at this beautiful cabin. It was just what we needed. Michael was very responsive to any questions we had. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and then some. We loved relaxing by the fire pit, enjoying the hot tub, the beautiful views and how close by restaurants, grocery stores, down town was. We felt at home here and we will not forget this place we may even come back another time soon. Thank you Michael for everything you did for us and for your kind hospitality.

This was our second Christmas at Michael’s place and it was excellent. Michael is a great host and made sure to be as accommodating as possible. He set up a large Christmas tree in the living room, which the kids really enjoyed. Despite heavy rain, we were still able to soak in the hot tub since the porch is covered. A new addition this year was WiFi, and it is definitely nice to have, as there is no cell phone reception. I will continue to recommend Michael’s place, and hopefully we will continue our tradition next year as well.
