Wendy’s place had everything we needed for a top notch stay - a cosy warm living room, comfy beds, a beautiful bathroom and very well equipped kitchen. The cottage is quietly located in Baslow, just a short walk from some great eating places. We particularly enjoyed a delicious lunch at Charlie’s. Lots of great walks too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hall Cottage and would love to visit again.

If we could move in permanently, we would!! We had the most perfect, peaceful stay at Hall Cottage, that it was truly sad to leave. Everything was immaculately clean and comfortable and it was super helpful having a dedicated app for the cottage too. Our stay was everything we wanted, and more! You can tell the hosts truly care about the cottage and their guests.

Hall Cottage is beautiful, with comfortable bedrooms, a very well equipped kitchen and a lovely sun room. This was the second year we have stayed, as we enjoyed it so much last year. We were able to use it as a base for cycling, walking and visiting local attractions such as Bakewell and Chatsworth. The cottage is in a peaceful location but with local facilities nearby- the shop is minutes away and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants in the village.

Hall Cottage is very comfortable and very well equipped. It feels like home! So much thought has gone into making this an excellent place to stay. Wendy is a marvellous host and everything is provided to a high standard and well presented. The App that she makes available for the stay is so helpful with everything you need to know about the house and the area. We loved being able to access beautiful walks directly from the property and particularly enjoyed being close to Chatsworth. It is a great place to explore the Peak District from with so much beautiful countryside on your doorstep. We could walk a short distance into Baslow to eat out as well as enjoy the produce from Chatsworth Farm Shop and cafe just a short drive away! We feel rested and refreshed after our stay and would throughly recommend this lovely cottage.
