Well overpriced. Should be half the amount that is charged. You must wash everything before use. On a positive note, the location is beautiful and very peaceful. I doubt they would get much repeat business purely based on the price in comparison to other places.

Me and 8 other guests stayed at the cattle camp for 2 nights over new years eve. The property location was really nice, great area of lawn for a fire pit and we enjoyed swimming in the dam overlooked by the property. There was a great undercover outdoor space and bbq. However only one of the fridges worked and the freezer was filled with mould. The kitchen still had dishes out from the last guests and the bins weren't emptied. The owner also failed to mention that the showers ran dam water and the kitchen sink water was rainwater. The bedrooms were clean with cold aircon which was great. Overall if you are looking to book this place, don't expect a typical airbnb property, but rather a good outdoor space with basic amenities for a weekend outdoors by the fire or around a table.

The property itself was a really beautiful spot to relax, super quiet and calm! Very comfortable, cosy bedrooms with aircon. The facilities were great and all in order aside from a broken fridge, but this place is super convenient for food storage and cooking! Only issue we ran into was cleanliness. Needed a bit more of a scrub in between guests, as the benches, BBQ and fridge were all quite greasy and dirty. In saying that, it is an outdoor area so a bit of dust is expected. But lots of leftover items from other guests suggest that maybe some of the benches havent been wiped over or cleaned in a while. The bathrooms were clean though and the showers had heaps of hot water, didn't run out even having 10 guests using them!

Sorry to mention that we made a poor choice to stay at the property for our new year celebration with my friend and family. This brought on embarrassment and such shame on me. I booked for 10 members to celebrate New Year eve together. This place was a terrible choice and the host Tom was unaware of us coming to the site. He said he had seven accommodations spread across those 500 acres and did not know where we were allocated. He directed us to a cattle camp building that had literally two rooms and a patio. This building was placed in about half an acre of sloping land. There were five beds in each room, no windows for ventilation, fortunately, aircon was working. The panel cubicle toilets were just okay, of course to the cattle standard. Tom clearly mentioned, "what you saw in the photo is what you get". I agree with him. The photos of the rooms, toilets, patio are the ones that we got for $1155 paid for two night stays. Yes of course this is what we got. I even asked him if I could upgrade to a better place by paying him more, he said, all the accommodations were already booked. We were asked not to make any noise No Wifi facilities We were asked to keep away from the dam/lake, We noticed that the lake was protected with solar-powered electric fences, one of the wires hanging down. There was small wall mount TV in each room - one of them was not working as its remote was already smashed. My seven-year-old son tried to get the DVD out from the player, it was stuck, ended up taking it out after 30 minutes using a paper clip. To add to our fortune, heavy rain and wind kept us under the patio staring at each other in such a dim light and unclean barbeque area. Other than the area around the property being a great location with a lovely view, there is nothing more to add. We left the place after a one-night stay (of course a day early) as soon as the Sun showed us light to leave. I have none to blame but myself for choosing such a horrible place that led to a total disaster that even nature did not like us staying there. " What a great start of our New Year"
