Really beautiful. So romantic to walk around, especially at night. When I was there, it was full moon time -- really nice to watch it from the rooftop and to see it while falling asleep. Maria recommended Lost In and Seagull Method Cafe, and they were all so perfect. Incredible views especially at Lost In, and fantastic food. Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara is also within walking distance. It was all truly perfect. Felt safe, in awe of everything; felt like magical times. She also was flexible and allowed me to come in earlier. She's super sweet. Super nice. Highly recommend.

Maria’s listing was a wonderful place located in the heart of Lisbon. We had such a wonderful time during our stay and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, private place located near the main areas of Lisboa.

Maria was so helpful and kind! She offered to let us check in early so we didn't have to use a luggage locker or delivery service which was HUGE. She also gave us some wonderful recommendations for the area and made us feel so welcome. The apartment is even cuter than the photos and so well appointed and laid out for such a small space with lots of smart decisions like the table that folds into the wall. We never felt cramped. Both balconies were great for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening watching the swallows fly and listening to church bells as the sun set. The neighborhood was quiet and serene, but still a very quick walk to LOTS of neighborhood bars and restaurants as well as the usier areas of the city. Exactly what we wanted in terms of location. Sure, there's narrow stairs to climb and short ceilings in the bathroom and above the bed, but we knew all that coming in and really just felt like part of the charm of the space.

Maria is een geweldige host: heel vriendelijk, reageerde altijd heel snel, en gaf veel tips voor ons verblijf. Het appartement zelf is wat klein maar heel gezellig, heel proper en heeft een heel fijne ligging. Vooral de terrassen zijn fantastisch om in de ochtendzon buiten te ontbijten met zicht op de stad. Goeie locatie om de stad en omgeving te verkennen, en toch heel rustig. Er waren werken in de buurt bezig, maar daar hebben wij geen last van gehad. Het appartement is helemaal vernieuwd en mooi ingericht. De traphal is afgeleefd, maar dat stoorde ons niet. Het appartement ligt wel op de 4e verdieping zonder lift, en de trappen zijn smal en steil. Ook de badkamer en bed liggen onder een schuin dak waardoor je wel moet bukken, ook om te douchen. Het bed was voor ons een beetje hard. Maar verder prima verblijf en zeker aan te raden.

Maria is very welcoming, absolutely obliging and always available. The apartment is really beautiful and an absolute cozy place. While it can get a bit chilly, the heating swiftly banishes any discomfort. Due to its age, the building can only support a few appliances on the circuit simultaneously, but one quickly adapts to this.
