Nous avons séjourné en famille dans cette location et cela était idéal. l'emplacement est isolé tout autre habitation et nous avons trouvé calme et tranquillité. la présence des gardiens a permis rapidement de régler les besoins exceptionnels. Enfin, la piscine est vraiment un luxe appréciable dans cette région. merci à Salva pour cette location et sa réactivité dans ses réponses

When you look for this place on street view in google maps, it’s beyond where the google road ends, and there’s just this puzzled horse staring back at you in a field. Which basically sums up the place; it is beyond where the google road ends. If you are looking for rustic and isolated, where the only thing you can hear is wind, birds chirping, and your own thoughts, this is the place for you. The scenery is quite romantic - rolling hills speckled with olive trees, vineyards and villages, with the blinking of the stars and fireflies at night. The farmhouse itself was built by the owner, Sal, and his trusted friend, Andreas, who still lives on the land in a smaller house with his son, acting as a groundskeeper and general handyman. He is brusque mountain man (or so I am told by Sal) with a friendly smile. The structure itself is a stone house with 4 rooms of your choosing; a hodgepodge of clay floors, wooden ceilings, antique fixtures, giant lamps and tiny chairs. The main living and dining area are cozy in that way that beg you to return for Christmas by the fireplace (a sensation aided by the Christmas tree that was still up during our May visit). The casual dining area is entirely windowed-in and wraps around the farmhouse. It is hard to decide which view you might prefer to enjoy your meal by. There is also a small dining area outside that is in a pergola of overgrown jasmine flowers, whose shade and scent is refreshing. The kitchen is unusual in that it used to be a professional kitchen and has all of the tools of the trade, but not all of them work. Nonetheless, the view from the kitchen is inspiring enough to invent some fabulous meal cooked on the one functioning burner. There is also a slightly worn playground my 3 year old son quite enjoyed. The farmhouse used to be an agri-tourism hotel of sorts, the first one of its kind, built sometime around 1995. But it hasn’t been functioning in this capacity for some time and we were its first guests as a reinvented airbnb property. I can see that in its prime, it must have been quite spectacular, and that Sal, has the heart of a host who truly wants his guests to be happy. His response time prior to and during the stay was within minutes and he checked in on us a few times to make sure everything was ok. However, there are a whole bunch of little things that could use some fixing or prettying up that all together create a sensation of being a bit worn. To be fair, Sal gussied up the two rooms that we ended up not staying in and so the rooms we stayed in weren’t yet prepared for guests. Nonetheless, the farmhouse could use a little tender loving care to return it to its former glory. But I guess...
