This is a little slice of heaven! We started every morning with coffee and a beautiful view! We started and ended every day fishing and laughing. The hiking in the National forest is unreal. We were able to cook all of our meals. There was nothing we were left wanting. It was so clean and much larger than the pictures look! The privacy of Little Texas is amazing. It was everything we could have hoped for, and we will definitely be back next year!

Had a wonderful experience at Jim and Linda’s place, Little Texas. Directions to the property were easy to follow and helpful. The owners personally met us for check in, and left a sweet vase of flowers for us to enjoy. The property is absolutely beautiful and the house is well stocked with literally anything we could possibly want. Overall, excellent place with a lot of great touches by owners who genuinely care about the comfort and safety of their guests. Would love to stay again someday.

Delightful accommodation in a beautiful location. You drive on a gravel road to get there and turn on a gravel drive to see a lovely secluded home on a hill with great views of the Old Ohio River Valley. Well built home and lots of nice touches inside to make you feel comfortable and welcome. James and Linda combine Southern Illinois hospitality and Texas charm.
