The villa was excellent, just as described and pictured, for our December trip with a group of 15, ranging in age from 9 to 80, with lost of space to either congregate or to find privacy. -The host/owner met and oriented us to the workings and history of his house. He and his wife provided an excellent buffet dinner on our first night, with plenty of delicious food left over. -The walk into town takes somewhat more than 10 minutes, and is gradually uphill all the way which did not deter the younger folk. -With a car there is easy access to Etna, Catania, Taormina and Syracuse, closer attractions, groceries and restaurants. -A minor disappointment, told to us in advance: the swimming pool was not working. The younger folk, determined to swim, were able to get a dip in the Mediterranean. A minor seasonal (?) annoyance was intermittent smoke from a nearby pit of smoldering bush and tree trimmings. -Overall, a great place to stay with a group - highly recommended!

Great space for our 20 person birthday bash for my wife's "special" birthday trip from the U.S.A. The host answered all correspondence before and during trip without delay. I paid the host an extra fee to prepare a true Sicilian family style dinner with wine for our arrival evening and it was fabulous. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend for a large group

Great value. Amazing set up. Loved the pool and multiple areas for our different families to chill out. We absolutely loved our time. Some of the beds were not the comfiest and only one room has air conditioning but overall, heat wasn’t a problem. Well stocked with basic pantry items and plates cups ect. Highly recommend. Thanks for having us!
