We had a really wonderful weekend at Kalmer's place. The house is located in the Viru-Nigula parish with some interesting locations nearby to visit such as Kalvi manor, Viru-Nigula Local History Museum, Samma hiis (sacred grove), Uljaste hiking trail and Ontika paekallas (limestone bank/cliff). Using a car to get around is your best bet. The place itself is a very cozy small house with a great sauna. You have the living room downstairs with an open kitchen, a fireplace and a sauna stove as well as the shower room that is connected to the sauna. Upstairs is mainly for sleeping with four beds/mattresses capable of accommodating 8+ people. You also have a big balcony outside and a grill, which works great, so you can have a nice BBQ. This depends on the season, but during mid-May, there are hundreds of geese and other birds flying around over the house and feeding on the nearby fields (much to the dismay of the farmers). It's a pretty cool sight, though. You can also hear lots of bird song from other smaller birds that are residing in the nearby trees and bushes, which is wonderful. Also, if you see abandoned cars in the middle of the fields - they're there to scare away the birds. The light pollution is pretty low as well, so the view of the night sky is great. Overall, this is a great place for a little getaway to have an amazing sauna, sunbathe, barbeque, read and just unplug yourself. Or on the contrary - have a nice remote office because the wifi works great :)

Great home for weekend! There is clean, quiet and cozy. But there is a couple of moments: glass door to bathroom and wc, may be too steep stairs for small children and no windows on the second floor.

Had a very pleasant stay. House had all the necessities and the place was quiet. The responses from the owner were also quick and friendly. Would recommend.
