Fantastic house and location. Everything was awesome. The pictures are accurate to what you will experience. Even better. You are close to the beach and rural Thailand, and far from the madness of Hua Hin bustle and traffic. You can get to a giant Lotus supermarket in 15 minutes motorbike.

We had a fabulous stay at Denzil's lovely pool villa. The location is perfect for a quiet escape in a rural Thai village but is also just a short drive from beaches and local tourist attractions. The large and well-maintained pool/garden with dining area, lounge area and sunbeds will result in you spending most of your stay outdoors. This is a wonderful outdoor space, great for relaxing as it is a really quiet area too. The lounge and bedrooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Bathrooms are stocked well with towels. We also loved the kitchen which is certainly the best equipped kitchen we have seen after staying in many Air BnB properties. It has all of the equipment a chef would ever need! Denzil communicated well and check-in/check-out was quick and easy. Denzil lives a few houses away so would be on-hand if any issues arose. Overall this is a fantastic place to stay, particularly if you want a few days away from Bangkok. Takes 2.5-3 hours to drive from Bangkok. If you love high quality food and wine like us, there are two Villa Market stores in Hua Hin and the villa is only about 30mins away from there.

Denzil was extremely friendly and very accommodating during our stay at the fruit house. The house was very comfortable and we enjoyed all amenities it offered.

If you ever find yourself caught away from home in the middle of a pandemic, Denzil is the host you’d want to feel safe and secure. This is our second year staying here so we already know Denzil to be diligent, friendly, helpful and a model host. But this year was obviously different. While in Australia prior to our arrival, we realized we’d better get back home to Thailand since border closings seemed inevitable soon. We texted Denzil and asked if we might be able to arrive early. He said no problem and to worry about the money and details later. Luckily, we arrived only a few days before they declared a halt to all new arrivals in the province so we were “grandfathered in” so to speak. Denzil connected us to a local community Line group to help us stay informed of what’s going on during the emergency decree. As we were uncomfortable with cleaners entering during our stay, Denzil agreed to pick up our towels and linens weekly and bring them to the laundry. He also helped us figure out where to “register” as foreigners staying in the area as required by the provincial authorities. He’s always checking on us to ensure we felt safe, secure and not too bored during the crisis. The house itself is perfect with two small exceptions being that it’s very hot inside and you pay for electricity so constant air con use isn’t advised. We also found the WiFi to be sketchy but given the strain on the internet due to the pandemic this seems normal enough. The pool guy still came twice a week and the afternoon shade and large backyard made a perfect way to spend the days while being advised not to travel unnecessarily. Denzil also contacted the owners and helped us negotiate a lower rate for a period after our stay ended as we were trying to wait out the end of the travel restrictions. Since that’s not possible, he instead helped us by agreeing to print documents we may need to reenter our home province. There were just enough local restaurants offering takeaway service and delivery and we want to mention and thank Ley Cafe for their 50% off food offer and friendly service. The beach is normally packed with kite surfers but that was prohibited so we enjoyed long walks with nobody but a us and a few hungry dogs. Overall, Denzil deserves a huge shout out for going above and beyond while following all the rules imposed on him and his guests during the pandemic. Once this crisis abates, we highly recommend Denzil and this beautiful beach villa if you like a quieter vacation and don’t mind a few minutes of driving to enjoy the surrounding area. Needless to say, all the parks and attractions are closed during this emergency so we can’t review them but they will always be here in the future.
