This is the 2nd time we've stayed at Daniel's cottage and I can't think of a thing that could be improved. Daniel communicated quickly when we needed him to, and left us alone the rest of the time. To be honest, Daniel is one of the only AirBnB hosts we've had who seemed to genuinely care if we enjoyed ourselves and had everything that we need. Daniel was very flexible with our reservation which was greatly appreciated. The cottage itself is big and open, with bedrooms that are very private and quiet. The cottage includes everything you could need. The spot itself is absolutely beautiful and quite private (the neighbours are separated by bush on either side). The view is simply spectacular. If you need anything, the neighbour is available to help. For us, this place is ideal and we enjoy every minute.

The cottage is beautiful and in a spectacular setting. Unfortunately, Daniel’s response to a problem was very poor. Upon checking in, the tv was not working. The caretaker tried unsuccessfully that evening to fix the problem. The next day I confirmed to Daniel that the tv still didn’t work. He never responded at all (not even an “I’m sorry”), and the the tv didn’t work during my entire stay. I didn’t intend to watch much tv (the hiking was great), but the big screen tv was a highlighted amenity in the listing. For Daniel to ignore the problem and his guest was very poor form for a host.

Daniel’s place was beautiful, clean, and we felt right at home. The cabin itself was very well kept, and the outdoor area was absolutely gorgeous! It was so much bigger than we had anticipated which was perfect for our dog! We loved having the kayaks and canoe available for use, and the fire pit was great as well!

We spent a 4 days on Danny’s property and loved every minute of it. We kayaked every day and spent a lot of time in the water. The cottage was beautiful and charming. Planning on coming back next summer!
