Copperfield is a detached, two bed-roomed whitewashed cottage in the quiet conservation area of this lovely village. It is inviting and comfortable. There is a well fitted kitchen and large, cosy sitting room with a dining area. One bedroom one has twin beds, the other a king size. There is a private, two level garden with a brick BBQ and outside furniture. French windows open onto the patio and garden. There is off road parking for one car. It is also possible to park on the quiet road. Copperfield is a detached, single storey, two bedroomed whitewashed cottage in the quiet conservation area of this lovely village. Much of the cottage has been renovated recently and is warm, inviting and very comfortable. It has full central heating. The kitchen is well fitted with a dish-washer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, washing machine and a drier. It is very well equipped with crockery, cutlery, glasses and everything you would probably want or indeed have in your own home! We generally leave lots of basics from guest to guest, as well as our own cleaning supplies so we always say to check what you need to buy after you get there! There is large, bright yet cosy sitting room with a dining area by the patio windows. There are two big sofas which are very squishy and comfortable. There is a television and DVD player. There is also an open gas fire. The cottage has two bedrooms one with twin beds, the other has a king size double. All are new and with memory foam mattresses, with good quality bedding. All linen and towels are supplied. There is plenty of storage in both bedrooms. There is one family bathroom with sink, toilet and bath with a shower over it. The cottage has its own private, two level garden with a brick BBQ and outside furniture. French windows open onto the patio and garden, as does the back door from the kitchen. There is off road parking for one car. It is also possible to park on the quiet, no through-road outside. The village has it's own hotel with bar and restaurant as well, a short (2 minute) stroll away. There are also other restaurants within a 20 min walk and many more within a short drive. Just to the right of the cottage is a park with a cricket pitch and to the left is the local church, there isn't a clock so no disturbing bells! There are beautiful sandy beaches within easy reach both by car and on foot. There are also many delightful walks both on coastal paths and through the countryside. Cyclists are also catered for with many miles of dedicated cycle paths. Children with love the beaches and the huge range of activities for them within easy reach of the cottage. For golfers there are over 40 golf courses within The Kingdom of Fife from the world famous courses at St Andrews to the Oldest Ladies Course in the World just one mile away in Lundin Links. Lundin Links also boasts the Lundin Golf Course which is used for qualifying rounds for The Open Golf Championships. Copperfield is close to many historic places and is in the East Neuk of Fife, an area renowned for its quaint fishing villages. We are lucky to be only 10 miles from St Andrews as well as having good road connections to Edinburgh, Perth, Stirling and even Glasgow.
