Cosy ambience, comfortable furniture. All modern conveniences, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, microwave. TV, DVD, CD and MP3. WiFi. Private enclosed garden with garden furniture and barbecue. Set in a beautiful and quiet area, off the beaten track. Great walks and hikes. PLEASE NOTE: there is a linen charge of CHF 15 per person, payable on arrival, along with the visitors tax of CHF 3.60 per adult per night and CHF 1.80 for children 6 - 16 years of age. There is a spiral staircase to the upper floor. There are 3 bedrooms with 5 single beds, together or apart. Each bedroom gives on to a balcony. 1 full bathroom with bath/shower, wash basin and WC. There is 1 WC and wash basin downstairs. 8 Km (5 miles) to nearest ski slopes and cross country skiing. Less than 20 minutes to Le Châble for the telecabin up to Verbier. 15 minutes to Champex-Lac.

Sympathique chalet avec jardin clôturé. C’était un plus pour nous avec nos chiens. Calme, tranquillité, nature. Nous recommandons pour passer un agréable séjour au bord de la cheminée.

Excellent séjour dans un quartier très calme au milieu d un merveilleux environnement . Le chalet d une propreté irréprochable est particulièrement bien équipé et bien situé pour visiter la région et pratiquer la randonnée et le ski. Le fait que le chalet soit entièrement clôturé est une vraie valeur ajoutée. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !
Un super chalet, vraiment rien ne manque! Vue magnifique les montagnes depuis le jardin clos. Calme et près de la Fouly. Nous avons adoré ce chalet.
Hilary è una signora molto gentile e il suo chalet era bello, ordinato e davvero fornito di tutto. Il giardino cintato è adatto a chi come noi avesse un cane. Insomma è stata una bella settimana e ci piacerebbe molto poter tornare. Certamente consigliabile per una pausa di relax.

The chalet is in a very quiet area though there are other chalets nearby. The nearest supermarket is 6 Km away in Orsières and the nearest restaurants are in neighbouring villages.
However it is a wonderful region for hiking. Most people who rent my chalet have a dog or two.
The best way to get around is by car, though there is public transport. The main line train goes to Martigny. From there there is a small train that goes to Orsières and from Orsières there is a bus which stops on the main road 500 metres from the chalet. There is parking for 2 cars in front of the chalet as well as a one car garage.

I am English but have lived in Switzerland for many years. I am in a small village at the foot of the Jura about half an hour from Geneva. I have 3 grown up children and 2 dogs, beagles. My husband died over 6 years ago. I like reading, walking and looking after my garden. I also play bridge.
