Our guests LOVE seeing all the wildlife, especially the bears! Bear Paw Lodge is borders the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The cabin even has a hiking trail that leads into the Great Smoky Mountain National Park! ** Rare Find!!! Bear Paw Lodge features King beds in every bedroom! Even the 2 Bunk Rooms feature a King over King bunk bed in each bunk room! These rooms are great for kids, since it's on the same level as the Game Room. However adults find the lower level bunk beds comfortable too since the bunk beds have king size mattresses. *** Security: This cabin features exterior security cameras, located in front of cabin facing the driveway, and in rear of cabin on the back deck, facing the lovely mountain view and the wooded, sloped grounds below the cabin which are not used by guests because it is sloped and has not been cleared.  There are no interior security cameras. During your stay, you can start your hike into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park from our driveway! Our private trail leads you to the Covemont hiking trail and into the Great Smoky Mtn National Park! Depending on how far you want to hike, you can also go to Sugarlands Visitor Center in the park, to Cataract Falls, and onto the mot popular hike, Laurel Falls. The cabin's setting has been described as: tranquil, beautiful, private, peaceful and park-like. The location is also convenient! Just an 8-10 minute drive brings you to: downtown Gatlinburg with all the restaurants, shops & attractions or to the main entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park! In addition to the King beds in the 5 master suites, and the Bunk beds, the cabin also features 2 queen-size sofa sleepers. One sofa sleeper is located in the Loft and the other sofa sleeper is located in the Game Room. What's New at Bear Paw Lodge?? We now have a fire pit area in the backyard! Guests provide their own firewood. Note: We have a local contact who delivers firewood, C.O.D. Plus, firewood is available at local grocery stores, roadside vendors, hardware stores, Lowe's, Home Depot, and Green's Mercantile on Hwy 321. Each of these bedrooms has an en suite private bathroom with shower stall. ~ Also located on the upper level is a comfortably furnished loft. It's a great location to relax, read, or just have some quiet time to yourself. ~ Conveniently located on the lower level near the game room are 2 bunk rooms, each with a King over King bunk bed! Each Bunk room sleeps 4 guests, so sleep up to 8 guests in these 2 rooms! The bunk rooms have a door-less passageway between them, but each have a door between them and the bedroom hallway. Makes the bunk rooms private from the game room area but open to each other. ~ There are 2 bathrooms on the lower level, each with a shower stall. This lovely vacation lodge also features high speed wireless internet and SmartTV's equipped with Netflix, Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu. Don't forget to bring: While Sea & Sky Rentals provides you with an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags, which are intended to get you through your FIRST evening at the home, we recommend you bring the following: more paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags; hair dryer, napkins, condiments, spices, dish washing liquid, laundry soap, coffee and coffee filters, towels for the hot tub, sunscreen, groceries, aluminum foil, and anything else you may need to make your vacation complete!
