Views were great, can walk to the village to the cafe or pub when its light. Kids loved the tree swing , running around through the grass and exploring the woods. Tent was as expected and there was milk, bread and butter provided and some lovely cakes. Couldn't quite get the hang of the shower so we had anything from warm to cool but we managed ok. Beds were extremely comfortable. All kitchen utensils were available. The camping stove for boiling the kettle was very useful. Very good holiday.

Our week at Lapwing was one of those "wow" moments in life. I wanted to create a little adventure for our eight year old, twin boys. This was so much more than that for all of us. I hope very much that you will allow us to return again one day in the not-too-distant future, as you offer a true oasis for young and old, particularly in this rather scary, upended world that we now live in. Therefore, thank you so very much, Buffy, to Debbie and her helpful companion and to the kind villagers of West Meon who were so welcoming and fun to be amongst.

What a wonderful location! We had a beautiful stay at Buffy's place. It is so relaxing and peaceful. You are well equipped with all you need to keep warm, cook and have nice warm showers. We used the accommodation for relaxing days in as well as a base to explore the beautiful area. The sunsets are fantastic. Thanks Buffy we look forward to coming back!
