Owner was friendly and help with my wife to move in from another nearby Airbnb. We stayed here for about 8 days. The location was decent. Distance to MRT was as described. The unit is in an alley next to a medical center. The alley was a bit tight for cars to drive into. It was a little dark, so we did have a little concern about safety at nights. It is Taipei though, which is a fairly safe city. Pros: 1. decent location 2. size of interior - we have a 1 year old so it did give him so decent room to run around. 3. A lot of closet space 4. Bed was decent compared to others in the area 5. One of the best prices in the area. 6. Although parts of the bathroom was not clean, overall this unit was well kept. Cons: 1. Washer/Dryer unit was right outside our door for communal use. It dry clothes very slowly and is VERY VERY noisy. People started using at all our of the day, including midnight, which took to 2am to complete. Noise separation is limited. 3. Washer/dryer leaked 2 times during our stay. 1 time was outside our door and another time, it leaked into our room. We came home to our door being open as the owner was trying to clean up the flood floor in our room. She was extremely kind an apologetic, but this was a nuisance. The washer leak situation was fixed about 2 days later, but we were about to leave. 4. WIFI - the WIFI is shared between the 4 units (1 downstairs, 2 on 2nd floor, and 1 on third floor). The router is located on the 3 floor. If they pull the plug, everyone is disconnected. The router was a decent speed. We came in using T-Mobile but reception on most phones here is about 1 bar. 5. We had to ask to get more toilet paper, towels, and hangers, but each time, we were given them very sparingly. Without someone staffed, this was also a pain. Prefer if what was given was more generous. This place is still pretty decent.
