I really enjoyed my stay in this cozy and comfortable off grid cottage. Beautiful location, amazing views, sunsets, being surrounded by the water from the pond filled by the ocean on one side and colorful hills on the other side. Very peaceful and relaxing place. A lot to do right in Dark Harbour. You might just want to stay longer. Good to be mindful of high tide times. During my stay typically I was able to drive to the cottage 1.5 -2 hrs before high tide and 2-2.5 hrs after high tide. I was using an app called Nautide for tide times, solunar tables, water temperature and more, and found it very helpful.

The place was great, sad we had to leave early. Comfortable with amazing views, so quiet and relaxing! The perfect getaway from the city life.

We really enjoyed our stay at Paradise in the City! It was the coziest, rustic little cabin on the water. Our host really put alot of thought into making her guests stay a comfortable retreat from the fast pace of life. Everything was great! The area is absolutely beautiful! Lots to do if that's what your looking for or just relax and take in the beauty of this location. Lovely!

“Paradise” is just that for those who have a love of nature and a nautical and adventurous leaning. Having had this property on my radar for years, it was just as I had imagined. It is mysterious and peaceful with ever changing atmospheric and land and sea conditions. The cottage is rustic, as it should be, however it is clean and equipped with all you need. It is a unique location that time has forgotten, and for that I am grateful.
