This was the perfect place for our needs and next time we will stay longer, and perhaps bring a larger family group. Beautiful and unique accommodations that are so soothing to the soul. It felt difficult at times to feel privacy with the owner staring from next door upon check in but he eventually went inside at sunset. The kitchen is a bit oddly appointed but will work in a pinch. The dining room is a stately table down the center of an impressive room complete with 10 dining chairs across from a comfortable living room sitting area with a piano, couch, sitting chairs and tables. With mostly formal decor it we were still able to be comfortable, relax and enjoy each other's company in this lovely historic home. Speaking it being an old historic home, it did have that sort of old musty smell, and my sister's dust allergies were going crazy. So yes, we did notice some dust. It must be tough keeping an old house like that dust free!! FYI! Naperville, IL

Jay & Ken’s place was a decent getaway for the night as we had a college tournament at University of Wisconsin La Crosse. Upon arrival getting in is super easy and very flexible! The parking situation in the back was a bit confusing due to other tenants near parking in the incorrect spot but we figured it out. The downstairs bathroom is HUGE, and we loved the use of the tub, the hot water did end up stopping and it was only cold water coming out. The bedrooms were a great size with big mattresses that are also very comfortable. The TV seemed to be locked meaning we were unable to use this during the night of our stay due to not receiving the code to use the TV. This was a minor inconvenience that I assumed they will fix based on this feedback. This place is definitely the place to rent if you are looking for an older historic getaway!
