Luisa and Paul’s place is lovely. We really enjoyed our homemade breakfasts each morning, all the gorgeous plant and bird life and beautiful pool. One thing that came as a surprise to us was that there is no glass on the windows or sliding door, and the room doesn’t have a true door (lockable gate that leads to private balcony with sliding screen door leading into bedroom). Some nights it was hard to sleep because of the lack of a sound barrier. The place is a good 15-20 minute walk to restaurants/beaches and we ended up renting a scooter which made getting around more efficient- and fun!

We enjoyed a 3 night stay in Luisa & Paul’s lovely home. The design is really special. A lovely place that breathes rest and tranquility. We love the concrete design and open, flowing windows.

We chose to stay at Villa Maria based on the outstanding reviews they received from others who had stayed there - we were not disappointed. Paul and Luisa are very kind, attentive to detail and accommodating to our questions and needs regardless of what business they are engaged in during the day. Their attitudes are always helpful which meant so much to us. Their place is beautifully designed and evokes a calm peaceful atmosphere; it's delightfully refreshing.

Excelentes hosts Luisa y Paul, se portaron muy lindos con nosotros; nos surgió un problema y nos ayudaron a resolverlo de la mejor manera. Sin duda, nos dejaron con ganas de volver. Hasta pronto!!
