We had a gorgeous stay at Woodburn. It’s so great to find an Airbnb that is happy for pets to stay! The owners are delightful and although Uber Eats is unavailable in the area, there’s a restaurant on site and they even brought the meals to our rooms. It’s a pity there’s no vacuum cleaner so I could spruce the place up properly before we left.

The hosts were lovely people however we found around the kitchen cupboards not vacuumed, the apartment not really what was described. The shower in main bathroom was extremely uninviting and in desperate need of replacing, tikes and grout through the bathroom needed attention or upgrading. The curtains were shabby and outdated. The paint is shabby and outdated. Queen bed mattress rolled us into he middle so uncomfortable. Cracks throughout the apartment. DVD player in lounge but no DVDs so we be ought one but the player didn't work, no boards games, all cupboards completely empty. Only one teaspoon for 7 people. No bath mat. No extra toilet paper. Cobwebs throughout. Badly stained and outdated carpets. Inappropriate and unprofessional while we were having dinner, sat his phone at our table and asked us to watch something he thought was funny. Very very poorly maintained buildings and yard. Inadequate suitable parking spots - park on the wet grass. Way over priced for description

Terrible experience, family felt uncomfortable and ended up leaving without staying, we packed up quietly and left the key trying to be respectful, when we got home looked up reviews and turns out there's 15 years of terrible reviews on this place. Don't feel bad anymore. Not sure how it has 15 glowing reviews on Airbnb but just do your research first

Spacious apartment a few minutes drive out of Richmond on a farm. Pet friendly and the farm is well suited to a dog who is relaxed about horses, sheep, ducks, chickens, and other dogs. We loved it!
