A lovely location! So many animals and a lovely village. The room was very clean and when we got lost (and in trouble) Lenny even went out to find us. They were just welcoming guests again so there was still some work to be done, the pool still needed some good cleaning, airco maintenance and not sure if it was really meant for us to use the kitchen. After we were told we couldn’t eat there we drove back to buy food. In the meanwhile other guests arrived who were getting food so we were a bit too much in the kitchen for them. Very tired with a baby it felt sad. Same next morning. Apart from that we felt very welcome. I’m positive that with some tlc it will become a great place again, but for now it’s overpriced. NOTE The location is correct BUT use the coordinates (copy-paste) and DON’T click on the link in AirBnb to direct you to goo gle maps. It’s not right like that (a bug in the app) and we ended up on the other side of the village on a sandy road,

I booked 4 nights but ended up only staying 1 night.The place isn't in a good condition, the tv's were not working, the shower wasn't draining the water, the floors aren't tiled, the pool isn't tiled or painted, and the air conditioner in one room wasn't working. The place is far from Kasane which is the tourist attraction.

We stayed hereas a group of 6 for 3 nights. It was easy to find the accommodation. For travellers coming from the Pandamatenga direction, the first turnoff to Lesoma which you meet is an unsealed road and at the time there were some roadworks happening. The second turnoff from the main road (Kazungula side) is tarred and well signed. Checkin was efficient (we even received a welcome drink!) and our rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and cool. There was a security guard through the night which was good for peace of mind. We were able to store some food for breakfast in the communal kitchen which was very handy as we left early every morning for activities. The lodge is on the edge of the village of Lesoma, approximately a 25 min drive from Kasane. It was very peaceful and at night you can hear hyenas and lions roaring. The staff was very helpful and friendly with great hospitality. The only thing that was not completely smooth was that when I made the booking on Airbnb I made the payment and was then contacted to be informed that the total amount was incorrect and more money was requested. I paid the extra amount and I believe it was a genuine mistake possibly due to me paying in AUD, which I think has since been rectified. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would recommend Lesoma Valley Lodge to other self-driving travellers looking for a peaceful base outside of Kasane.
