A great, rustic villa within a few steps of a beautiful beach. The villa was relatively basic but included everything that we needed. There aren't that many restaurants nearby but we really liked Da Vincenzo and went there several times. Taormina and Cefalu are good day trips by car.

This was one of the best places to stay we have ever visited. Long story short: 1. The place is beautiful and access to a secluded beach (sometimes we were the only people there) was amazing (less than one minute on foot, really). 2. The villa was very well prepared for handling 10 people or more, even when cooking large amounts of food. 3. The surrounding areas, although not very touristic, were a nice surprise. The Tindari ruins were great, but we particularly loved the Laghetti di Marinello natural reserve. 4. Angela was a very kind and helpful host and was answering very fast about any of our concerns. To sum up: an amazing place to spend your holiday if you are able to rent a car and don't care about the "standard" tourist locations. We absolutely recommend.

Angela was a lovely host who was responsive and helpful with local recommendations. The house was large with plenty of room for our group and lovely outdoor spaces, and the beach 30 seconds away was one of the nicest I have seen in Southern Italy. We were especially grateful for the air conditioning during the heat wave: although there was only AC in 2 of the bedrooms, it did help cool down the whole house. We also appreciated the coal BBQ. The place is a bit difficult to find and get to by car, but Angela helpfully marked Villa Calypso on G-Maps which helped a lot! The entrance and parking is through the back gate only.

Die Nähe zum Strand ist hervorzuheben. Dabei ist der Strandabschnitt auch noch der schönste Teil der Bucht mit feinen Sand. Sogar am Wochenende sind kaum einheimische da. Das Haus hat große Zimmer und die Betten haben gute Matratzen. Die Bäder sind funktional und waren sehr sauber. Die Außendusche ist sehr praktisch und wurde hauptsächlich genutzt. Auf der Terrasse kann man gemütlich sitzen und gut Grillen (neuer Steingrill wurde installiert). Die Einladung zum Pizzaessen war ein Highlight. Danke Angela, die Pizza war unglaublich. Der Ort Falcone ist in 15 Minuten Fußläufig zu erreichen. Restaurants, Bäcker und Supermarkt ist in guter Qualität vorhanden.
