It was really great to stay at Dawn’s place in Cuyo. The property is very well located, close to the city center (very small, peaceful and friendly city), the beach is 7 minutes walking distance away. The studio is simple but functional, clean, quiet. Cuyo Island is a paradise. I hope I can visit the place again.

We stayed at Dawn and Boody's place for a bit more than 3 weeks and we had a really nice stay! We didn't meet Dawn during our stay since she was in Manila at the time but her husband Boody took good care of us. There are 3 apartments next to each other and ours was the middle one. It had a small kitchen with all the basic tools and the bed was the most comfortable we slept in during our two months in the Philippines. The kitespot is only a 5-minute ride with motorbike or a 10-15 min walk and the market and grocery stores are just 5-10 min walks away. If you don't want to cook food yourself there are some good local restaurants in town and right outside Dawn's place you can buy grilled pork for a cheap price. Overall a really great place to stay and very friendly and helpful people!

If you are looking for a quite and peaceful atmosphere for your stay at cuyo island than Dawn‘s place is the place to be. Surrounded by Mangotrees and many other plants as well as a well for getting water like in older times makes it unique and it gives you that certain feeling being somewhere special :)
