We were very happy with our stay at ‘Loft of Lavandes’. This huge room is on a quiet street so is very good for sleeping. Although no kitchen or dining table, there is a fridge, microwave, coffee pod, jug & a shared washing machine & drier. A big plus is the early checkin time from 1pm & checkout by 11am. All transport in Luxembourg is free & frequent. The 8, 11 & 16 buses will all take you to the nearest stop, Strassen Benelux. Coming from train station you need to catch a tram first - T1 going in direction of Luxexpo. Change to bus at Hamillius (city centre) or Stareplaz/Etoile which is quieter. In addition to waiting time, it will take 20 minutes from train station, 10 minutes from city centre & 30 minutes from airport plus a 10 minute walk from the bus stop. Basing ourselves here & doing daily train/bus trips to explore other towns worked well. We found Haoxuan friendly & easy to communicate with by messaging through Air BnB & would definitely stay here again.

I had the best time staying at the loft, everything was so easy and clean and the loft was so spacious . Its only defect was the fact that it doesn’t have a kitchen but the microwave and coffee machine help a lot. Finally, I really liked the neighbourhood and the nature surrounding the house ( the deli shop just 10min by foot was a huge advantage).

Really nice location and clean apartment. Haoxuan was kind and helpful. Only thing is that there are not a lot of utensils / plates / cups. Overall great experience.

Excellent area, very spacious unit however bathroom was not cleaned. Bathroom drain completely clogged, it literally took me over an hour to clean the drain. Not happy about that. It was David’s t that the drainage wasn’t cleaned for a very long time. Bed small, no standard size pillows; towels, bed sheets very old. It seemed like the host didn’t put any effort to make the unit nice for the guests. Whatever household items used by others, were just there. Host is very responsive and polite, no doubt. However upon checking out I was having hard time to call a cab as didn’t have a phone number. Requested the host and he declined. I understand it’s not his responsibility however it’s really not a lot to ask for. Given location and quality of the room, cleanliness-it’s definitely overpriced. That being said, I would definitely stay again, as long as it’s cleaner.
