The better lodge was very cool despite record temperatures. Easy to find. A great experience.
Beautiful location away from city lights, convenient access to blue ridge parkway. Overall it was a comfortable stay. The common area kitchen was very helpful.

We did not plan ahead and needed a place within 2 hours and found this place and by time we got there we were all good to go in. Very nice place up in the mountains.
What a lovely place, on the grounds of a beautiful event center. The room was huge and the beds very comfy. The common room with kitchen was a huge bonus - we ate a couple of meals there and thought it was very well-stocked. We will certainly stay here again.
