A beautiful secluded location, set amidst a tree lined valley with the river Coquet running through. The accommodation was of a very high standard, comfortable and stylish. Well equipped and always warm (under floor heating). Hosts were friendly and helpful, providing useful tips on worthwhile places to visit.

Very tranquil and picturesque settings. The cottage was peaceful and comfortable. A lovely walk from the cottage along the river, and really well located for exploring the area. Great facilities and we really enjoyed the week we stayed.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our dog. The property is lovely and we were delighted with the welcome hamper of goodies to keep us going. Everything was as described and pictured. We met the owner Emma a few times and she was very friendly and helpful. This is a great base as it is situated in a good location for getting up and down the coast to the fantastic beaches, but is not without good countryside walks in the area. The grounds of the priory are lovely to sit in as it gets dark.

We loved our stay at Priory Cottage. Great location, very peaceful and quiet. Perfect spot for exploring surrounding areas and the Northumberland coast line. Would highly recommend this place for a getaway. Dog friendly too which is just what we needed.

We stayed at Priory Cottage during a very cold snap in December. It was so cosy, so quiet and private, everything we needed was on hand, easy parking, easy access to the public road. Brinkburn staff were unfailingly helpful, and thoughtful little touches like the welcome hamper made it feel like a special occasion. The only slight disappointment was footpaths on the estate were closed, presumably for the winter, but hey there is the whole of Northumberland National Park just about on your doorstep, so plenty of paths to explore.
