There are not enough words to describe how truly magical our stay at Cruck Cottage was. We spent our Christmas at this idyllic cottage and it was honestly a real home from home- even our dogs settled right in. The cottage was so warm, cosy and really comfortable. Everything was so clean and the linen smelt amazing. We had never used a log burning fire before but with clear instructions from Elaine we found it easy to use and loved having a real fire which made the cottage all the more cosy, and with the storage heaters in the background we stayed lovely and warm and we didn’t need to use any additional heaters. Elaine is an outstanding host, she left a little welcome treat for us which was so delicious :) and kept in touch with a very fast response time. Elaine really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, she even checked in with us on our journey home due to adverse weather conditions. Thank you Elaine ⭐️ we would love to return again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Elaine’s cottage, the location is fab and the cottage is well equipped. The only thing to note is the main source of heating in the main room is the open fire, and because we travelled on a cold autumn weekend it did need a lot of upkeep

Beautiful and cosy cottage exactly as the pictures portray. Peaceful position and perfectly located for walking / running (from the front door) or accessing some of the higher peaks as well as visiting Loch Tay and the charming towns of Aberfeldy & Kenmore. Very happy and comfortable 4 night stay but sad to leave. Elaine is a communicative and helpful host. We’d definitely like to stay again…just for for longer.
