our family truly enjoyed our stay at Cottarie cottage. it was conveniently located near any local attractions. the local beach, five minute walk from the cottage, is great. we suggest walking halfway up the beach to get a spot with no rocks in the water... highly recommend this place.

This lakefront cottage is exactly as pictured but what the posting doesn't show is the ever shifting moods of the lake. It was a delight to spend time on the deck at sunrise and all through the day and evening. I have so many pictures of sun/moon and clouds. We were fortunate enough to be there for a full moon! Amazing! Inside the cottage there was never a time that we said "I wish we had _____" everything we needed was there. Very comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend this cottage.

The waterfront could not be any closer! My family and I loved staying at Cottage by the Shore, so much so that we preferred to stay at the cottage rather than see the local sights. Between the huge waterfront deck, the beach and the great side yard, we were more than entertained. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable for those rare moments we came inside. Looking forward to visiting again next summer!

Great location and a fantastic deck right on the lake which we took full advantage of during surprisingly warm May weather. The host was very attentive and the place was very clean. The two beds - Queen and double have new mattresses which were soft. The pull out couch would work for children but not old backs. Had a wonderful time.
