I stayed in Craig's apartment for a month during Cherry Blossom and I can't say enough good things about my experience. First, the instructions for getting into the apartment were clear and accurate and entering the premises went smoothly. I've stayed at quite a few places over the years and, trust me, this is not always the case so I really appreciated the easy entry! The apartment is charming and well equipped with everything I needed for my extended stay. But the absolute BEST thing about Craig's apartment is the location!! It is only 2 blocks from the Capitol Building and only 450 feet from the 32/36 Metro Bus line that I found very useful in getting where I needed to go. Also, on that same corner, 450 feet away, are 3 casual restaurants that make pretty good food. It was so convenient after a long day to be able to grab a pizza, burger or taco on the way back to the apartment. I would not hesitate to recommend Craig's apartment and would definitely stay there again!

For short term guests, look no farther, this place has everything you need and is easy walk to National Mall. But I really want to write this review for longer term guests. By the end, I'll have lived here for basically an entire year while working as a fellow in the Senate. The location is perfect. Close to everything, 10 min walk to work in Dirksen, and a 5 min walk to Capitol South metro. Food and bars galore. Eastern Market, Barracks Row, Navy Yard - all walkable or easy to grab a Capitol bike and roam. The apartment is charming and a bit creaky, but comfortable and sufficiently stocked to have what you need. The bed is comfy and Craig has every type of pillow one could hope for (pillows matter a lot for a year!). The kitchen is sparse - you won't be making a five course meal or becoming a pastry chef, but it has all the basics. I'd recommend this place wholeheartedly, it's become my second home!

beautiful apartment right by the Capitol. feels very safe. the area is walkable, metro is 2 blocks away. Lots of shops. The house was very quiet. Fantastic place to visit DC!

This apartment is in a great location to access the metro and get to any of the monuments or museums in DC. Craig was a very responsive and accommodating host.

Craig was a responsive host and he was easy to communicate with. The apartment is in a prime location and very walkable to all of the iconic D.C. sites. Craig provided a parking permit and we were able to find parking in the neighborhood or often in front of the apartment. The metro is very close to the apartment and felt safe walking there even in the evening. There are many restaurants literally steps from the apartment. Trader Joe's and Eastern Market within walking distance. Great apartment.
