Lovely place, very tropical. The best part about the stay was the hotel manager, she was so lovely and welcoming, cooked breakfast everyday and was so attentive through out the entire stay. Would hugely recommend to anyone! Thanks so much!

I really enjoyed my week here.Peaceful and quiet away from the beach front business.Beautiful location.Service was awesome and the staff always friendly and helpful.Highly recommend.

Eine sehr schöne Anlage. Alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Liebevolle Beherbergung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Havana Lodge is a villa with a few rooms in the main villa, a couple of other stand alone rooms, plus the Jungle Suite, which is a self contained Studio in the garden (and furthest from the road). It has its own kitchen area, but you can also use the main villa kitchen. The villa common areas are open and very pleasant, the hostesses cooked up an excellent breakfast every day (and are lovely, friendly local ladies). There is a small, nice pool area. The location is great, close to the fabulous Playa Carmen ... Great sunsets and a few good restaurants. Also the road outside Havana Lodge is asphalt, so it is much less dusty than other places on the dirt roads. Great value and highly recommended.

Havana Lodge is beautiful. Nice pool and gorgeous shared kitchen space. Our little cabin was tucked among the trees, and as a result, every time we opened the door, ants and such loved to come inside. But hey, it's Costa Rica. The bathroom was quite small and also had a quite few of our ant friends. One night, a scorpion emerged from behind the air conditioner, and someone promptly came to Raid it. We ended up capturing it and letting it out, though. Breakfast is lovingly cooked by Yasmina and her helper, and she was truly the best part of the trip. So kind and attentive. Beautiful energy. We've lived in Guanacaste the last 6 months, and so Santa Teresa didn't do it for us (lots of young foreigners, not a lot of Pura Vida), but if you're going to stay in this area, Havana Lodge is an excellent choice. The beach nearby is quite rough, and the restaurants are not far, but the road does not have a side walk and people drive fast. Overall, lovely stay!! Thank you!
