Ian & Carol’s place was perfectly private. Nestled in a beautiful garden full of fruit trees, rambling roses, spring flowers and the sound of birdsong. We relaxed straightaway! The cabin itself was spotless, tastefully furnished, warm and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need for self catering if you choose not to eat out. Communication was amazing before and during our stay. Ian was a welcoming host on arrival whilst respecting our privacy. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

The cabin is a wonderfully peaceful little spot for some quiet time. Tucked away at the bottom of the garden, you have your privacy, and it was very lovely to sit with the patio doors open, reading my book with the sounds of the birds singing in the trees. It’s a short walk to Sidmouth’s beach, pubs, cafes and great vintage & charity shops, and a pleasant stroll along the river. If you’re coming back after dark, make sure you take a torch because the walking route isn’t lit. Despite not meeting face to face, Ian and Carol couldn’t have done more beforehand to make me feel welcome and ensured that I had everything I needed.

Perfect accommodation in a perfect location! Ian and Carol have thought of everything to ensure a first class, comfortable stay. The garden is stunning. Communication with the hosts was excellent.

A lovely well equipped cabin in a beautiful garden setting. Ian and Carol were very responsive from booking to arrival and we saw Ian a couple of times for a quick chat and he was kind and helpful. We wished we could have stayed longer as 3 nights was not enough and we will definitely make another booking. We would also recommend Mychas Grill and Restaurant which did amazing food and great service and The Anchor pub, where the staff were also lovely.

We were very comfortable here in our cosy nook among the daffodils Spotlessly clean and warm, we had everything we needed. We travelled by bus from Honiton station and could walk into Sidmouth town from here. Ian and Carol were polite, friendly and v responsive and left us in privacy during our stay. Highly recommended
