The world famous Bodnant Garden, owned by the National Trust, is central to the Estate and is famed for its laburnum arch, Italiante terraces, waterfalls and national collections of plants.
Book yourself onto a course at the National Beekeeping Centre.
Fishing permits can be purchased so you can spend a day in the heart of the estate trying to catch any number of fish from Roach, Tench, Perch, Eels and Rainbow Trout.
For the green fingered, why not visit Bodnant Garden Centre where you will discover a wide range of unusual and rare plants. Treat yourself to the perfect present to treasure your holiday. Otherwise, you may find a lovely gift from the Bodnant Craft Centre which displays an array of furniture, jewellery, glass, ceramics and much more.

Or head over to, Adventure Parc Snowdonia home to the best days out in North Wales. with perfect surfable waves on a world-first inland surf lagoon, ideal for beginners through to pros. Discover daring new adventures at Adrenaline Indoors, where you can brave The Caves, climbing walls, an aerial assault and the UK's most extreme slides.


No visit to North Wales is complete without a visit to Snowdonia. The peaks are magnificent and there's lots of walking to be had. With its gentle incline up the Llanberis Path, Snowdon can be conquered by most walkers – or you can rest your legs and take the mountain train from Llanberis to the top.


Visit the animals at Welsh Mountain Zoo, also known as the National Zoo of Wales, the oldest and most established Zoo in Wales having been born as a small family run business by the Jackson family in 1963. Set on one of the most picturesque and unique landscapes for any UK Zoo, the Welsh Mountain Zoo occupies some 37 acres of lush green landscape overlooking Colwyn Bay and the Carneddau mountains.


Also the sandy beaches of Llandudno, Conwy and Colwyn Bay are within about a 15-minute drive.

A number of Welsh castles including Conwy, Caernarfon, Beaumaris, Harlech, Dolwydellan, Denbigh and Rhuddlan are within easy striking distance.


Conwy is a walled town with a history stretching back for centuries. You can get a feel for what it was like in the town through the ages at Aberconwy House, a medieval property on the high street where there's an audio-visual display.


While you're in Conwy, make sure to have a look at the suspension bridge. This was one of the very first, and designed by that Master of Engineering, Thomas Telford.


Conwy Castle looms over the town, and you can enjoy some spectacular views from the battlements. For something a bit more modern, the Royal Cambrian Academy is an art gallery in the heart of Conwy, where you can buy original art or souvenirs.


Take a stroll through the elegant Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno or view it from above with a trip on the Great Orme Tramway.
