Beautiful location! A super cool volcanic rock beach 100 yards walk from the driveway. Wonderful Infiniti pool. Neat town a short drive away with a couple of small markets and restaurant and cafe. We loved our time in this beautiful paradise. Communication from the host was excellent with very proactive directions to the villa and other recommendations. It was very helpful to read the communications before arrival. Thoughtful snacks were in the home to greet us after a long journey which was much appreciated.

Villa Penelope is simply gorgeous - even better than the pictures. We were a group of 4 friends vacationing together for 3 weeks and we couldn’t have been happier. WiFi was fairly reliable for those who had work to do, and there’s plenty of room to spread out for privacy. The various outdoor sitting areas & views are heavenly & each bedroom has its own in-suite bathroom. The location is perfect - walking distance to the rock slab, close to several lovely beaches & the village of Spartia for dinners & quick shopping runs. A bit further (20 minutes) is the charming harbor town of Argostoli where there are more shopping & dining options. Highly recommend renting a car to explore all the beaches & small towns on Kefalonia. Note: the roads are narrow, bumpy & steep & even with GPS, directions can be confusing. The management contacts at Freelance Villas were very kind and responsive. We hope to return one day!

The most incredible views I’ve seen from a garden and pool - so good that we didn’t want to leave to explore. Absolutely stunning place. Shops are an 8 minute drive away and restaurants too. Wonderful, breathtaking, comfortable and well-equipped. A memorable stay. 5⭐️ plus
