David was a great host, plenty of communication re check in and flexible with sleeping arrangements, he made the stay quite stress free. The location cannot be beaten with 90 mile beach about 100m from the back door and the jetty 50m from the front.

The location and layout of the property is fantastic. The location provides a unique experience in off grid living (but not remote) and the layout gives a family/group both private and communal spaces. We really enjoyed our stay.

Ocean Grange is a fantastic spot for a private family getaway. We had three family groups with 1,2,9 and 12 year old children. The location means you can wake up, go for a swim in the ocean (100m via the back gate onto the beach track), kayak on the lakes, go for walks, swim in the pool (if a warm day!) etc etc. The house itself is a big as it looks, in seperate zones. The main kitchen is fantastic with a huge communal dining table, and it is a bit of fun using the gigantic flame toaster (no normal toaster) and going back in time to use a stove kettle. Tons of condiments etc so no need to carry too much from Paynesville. The bedrooms are comfortable not luxurious- perfect for a fun family getaway. Because of the location, it is a bit of a fight against sand on feet etc, so we had to have a daily sweep to keep the main house clean enough for the tiny kids. We had an absolute ball- the little kids loved running around the property and up and down the beach, and the bigger kids didn’t get bored in our 5 nights. We will be back!

David is an outstanding host of a beautiful property. Our group of 13 had plenty of space, and never ran out of things to do. Can't wait to go back!
