It was great time. Friendly staff, cleaning service every week, clean kitchen and bathroom, additional amenities, silence, safe streets. Great quality per price in the best location in San Francisco. I am very happy with this visit, highly recommended!

I stayed at Hotel Ikon for over a month and enjoyed the location most. It’s right in the heart of the city and close to whatever you enjoy. If you need less pricey food, just walk a few more blocks. The staff is friendly and kept the place very clean, even the floor bathrooms. The only other thing is it can get a bit noisy, but that’s the city. I would stay here again in a second.
This might be the best value place you can stay in downtown SF and it made my trip special. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. The main reasons this may not be for you is if you need a kitchen or your own restroom. But if not, then this is your place.
It's just what you would expect for the price point and is excellently located. Expect to pay out the nose for parking if you brought a car.

We are a unique boutique hotel (hotel ikon) offering a variety of rooms for a variety of lengths of stay. We can accommodate you on a nightly basis and also longer term (we have monthly discounts). You will see we have multiple different listings. We are ideally located right in the heart of Union Square, steps from everything important to see and do in San Francisco, such as Chinatown (dragon gate is around the corner), the streetcars on Market Street, the cable cars just blocks away, and the Embarcadero/piers just a short walk east. We are under new management as of 2016 and are in process of making a bunch of fun improvements. Our current office hours have been reduced to 10 am until 10 pm temporarily, but we do have a resident manager onsite for emergencies. Check-in is at 3 pm but depending on availability, we may be able to check you in earlier. We appreciate our guests, returning and new! Let us know what we can do to make your stay extra special.
