As the description and feedback says, stairs are steep. But also as the feedback says, the place is small, but nice and very well located. Place had everything we needed, and was close enough that we could easily come and go multiple times a day (as we were 5 to 15 min away from most everywhere). The only warning is parking. We had a car for one night, and followed the instructions to park in the parking lot that is basically in front. We did not find (or understood) the cost, but assume it worst case be $25. Big mistake, we left the car for 11hrs, and paid 44 Euros. Either don't bring a car, or just park in the city's "Park and Ride" places for 15 euros (which include a bus pass).

This apt really preserves old world character while incorporating modern conveniences and tasteful touches. It is on a quiet pedestrian street with no traffic noise, although on nice evenings dinners at a restaurant below might be heard talking. It has great views of the Hohensalzberg fortress! Guests should be prepared to climb stairs, as it is an old building in a historic district. We had a great stay and would highly recommend!

We’ve been traveling in Europe for three weeks using Airbnbs at every stop. This was by far a favorite and so unique! The decor, natural features in the shower and commode, outdoor deck access & view of the fortress from our bed were just perfect! The bed & bedding was very comfortable and we enjoyed other little touches within the apartment. Fantastic stay in Salzburg. We highly recommend!

This is an absolute gem. Great location with all the sights and restaurants/bars in comfortable walking distance. The houses all along Steigasse have so much character and Sascha’s place is no exception. The apartment itself was very comfortable with every effort made to make it nice and cool for our arrival, and communication from Sascha was excellent from the moment we booked and during our stay. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Absolutely loved Sascha’s apartment. Beautifully appointed. Super comfortable. Spotlessly clean … and perfectly located in the centre of Vienna. Outstanding place. Will definitely be back.
