Das Haus ist wunderschön und hat eine tolle Lage, sofern man Stille aushalten kann. Toller Sternenhimmel, phantastische Terrasse! Emma ist zurückhaltend aber immer da wenn man sie braucht. Sie ist sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend!

Emma is a fantastic host and this is an amazing house in an idyllic natural setting. As we arrived some 10 beautiful rabbits were running around in the fields nearby. The house is super comfortable for a relaxing stay. The beds are new and cosy. Everything was clean and spacious. We enjoyed gorgeous sunsets with a view of the mountains. Emma was always attentive providing all the info that we needed including photos and a link to map directions right to the front door. We only had time to visit one of the restaurants that Emma recommended but it was perfect for us. The Meson El Mirador in the nearby town has a great view of the valley and the food is wonderful. The house has been recently renovated in a modern rustic style. The washroom for example is large and up-to-date with a walk-in shower. This is a truly superb place for a retreat from the stresses of life. At night we loved watching the unspoiled star filled sky. I hope to visit again!

Emma was always ready and willing to help whenever we needed anything, and just generally a very pleasant person. The Cortijo is beautiful, well-furnished, -situated and really private. There are couple of rules you have to follow in the Cortijo, but Emma wrote a handy little book that explains everything you need to know about the Cortijo, along with some suggestions for the area. I‘ll definitely be coming back some day, and I can fully recommend the Cortijo if you want a place in the desert to relax. It‘s worth mentioning however that the road to the Cortijo is… bumpy, at times. My Seat Leon FR ST (KL) was able to get there, but you should be comfortable with your car and it definitely should NOT be lower than mine. It‘s a really fun drive though! Thank you very much, Emma!
