Very comfortable stay but could not self check in, which was inconvenient. Comfortable sleep and quite homely.

We loved staying at Hillarys Boat Harbour and so pleased that we chose this location and not the city. It was still easy to have a Perth city day, but so much prettier and easy access to Rottnest to stay at Hillarys. We swam every day from the beach and also the pool which is private to the apartment complex (only ever saw one other person using it!). Although there are stairs up to the apartment, we preferred being up high and were glad that it wasn't a ground floor location. It also helped us to shift some of the calories - you will be so tempted by the great restaurants and gelato cafes they have nearby! Irene was a great host, meeting us at the location to ensure a smooth check-in and we very much appreciated her flexibility with our check-out arrangements.
