Our B&B Casal da Eira, close to São Brás de Alportel, is an ideal place to stay if you want combine (sportive) activities with beach visits. The beautiful nature and the foothills of the Serra are ideal for hiking, horsriding and cycling. Several routes start just outside our B&B. The beaches are only a 25 minutes drive. The Algarve has a very beautiful coast with a variety of beaches.
There are several parks in the area for kids like Aqualand, Zoomarine and Aqua Show water park.
There are a number of good golf courses within a 20-30 kilometers’ radius.
São Brás de Alportel is a mix of old and new, with both typical Algarve low white houses and grand merchant houses from its rich past. In the center there are plenty of shops and supermarkets, banks, restaurants and cafés. On saterday there is a market.
The beautiful historic places like Loulé, Tavira, Silves, Alte and Albufeira are worth a visit as well.
Since 2017, there is close to Loulé, a big shopping mall, outletstores (130 shops), a movie theatre and a Ikea.
Faro and the airport are nearby, only a 25 minutes drive.
Sevilla in Spain is also worth a visit. It takes you about a 2 hours drive. Even Lisbon is nearby, only a 2,5 hours drive, and you are in the center.
Change of towels and refreshing of the room is every other day. Fresh sheets and big cleaning is once a week.
A tourist tax have to paid in the Algarve. During your stay this must be paid cash to Casal da Eira.

A private car is recommended. We could help you to hire a car at a reliable local car rental company.
It is also possible to rent a bike. We could arrange the rental. There is plenty of choice like a mountain bike, road bike or electric bike.
