Our Apartment is a stylish, calm & minimal escape located right in the centre of Funchal giving you a real sense of local life. We designed our apartment to feel very ergonomic and functional. It's the perfect little space to relax after a long day of exploring this great island. We hope your enjoy our space! Our Studio Features: •Free High Speed Internet! • The Bedroom space with our custom signature DEN BED, designed to feel like adults hideout • The Private bathroom features a modern, open design with a toilet area separate from the showering and sink area • Comfortable lounging space with Sofa that opens into a bed if required. • Well equipped kitchen space with hob, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and all utensils On the ground floor of the building is our family laundromat here you can wash and dry your clothes either self-service or serviced for a discounted rate during your stay.

我非常喜欢丰沙尔，和整个马德拉小岛。同样，我也很喜欢这间小屋，它交通便利，附近有机场大巴，和各种通往不同徒步路线的公交车。同时，离一个大型超市购物中心很近，买东西很方便。家里的设施很全，厨房用具很简单，只能做简单的早餐。房间不大，适合两人入住。浴室，卫生间干湿分离，但没有遮挡，所以不适合陌生人一起住。房东很热情，推荐了出海看鲸鱼，35欧一人，但运气不好并没有看到鲸鱼。只有几只海豚。房东回复很快，人也很热情，入住退房都很顺利。希望我的评论可以帮助到来丰沙尔旅行的各位朋友。

Apartment is beautiful and located in the heart of Funchal. It has everything you need for a short stay. Communication with the owners was great, they provided me a list of recommendations and were very responsive.
The location is great! Steve and Aisling are very responsive hosts. We had noticed that the cooking gear was malfunctioning, we reported it and they resolved the issue within a day. The only downside I can give is that the bed may be experienced as uncomfortable based on your mattress preference. Despite this, there are countless of positive points which make a great stay at their place!

The Den Apartment Building is located in the well known historic area of Funchal, São Pedro. Just a few steps away from our door is the beautiful São Pedro Church, which began construction in the late 1500's.
The roads in this area are some of the last remaining stone roads in Funchal. Our location is in a prime spot; close to many Museums and just a few minutes walk from the main buzz of central Funchal. It also has the unique benefit of being very close to the hub of activity, yet is situated on a street that's calm in the evenings.
You're perfectly located in central Funchal; less than a 5 minute walk from all the central attractions and a 5 minute walk from main bus links. Should you wish to travel futher afield we reccomend downloading the BOLT app - this is a ride hailing app similar to Uber, and a lot cheaper than using Taxis. Parking can be found in many places around The Den, please message us and we will be happy to send you some great nearby suggestions.

Hey, we're Steve & Aisling! Steve was born in Jersey and raised by Portuguese parents, spending almost a decade moving around the world and studying in Australia. Aisling is from Ireland & loves to be creative in everything from writing to design. Our paths eventually crossed in Melbourne back in 2014 and we have been together ever since. We moved to my family's home island of Madeira in 2017 and are pleased to open up our homely apartments to you :) We are true believers that there is more good than bad in the world & we aim to spread as much positivity and good energy as possible wherever we go.
