This near-new, beautifully furnished home is located just a few minutes walk from popular Smiths Beach, one of the Island's premier surf destinations. About the home “Ironbark on Dolphin” is a delightful, single-story pet friendly home in Smith’s Beach, only a few minutes’ drive from the beach itself. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below: Indoor Areas The home features a beautifully appointed open plan kitchen / dining / living area (with TV, DVD player and Chromecast) leading to a further dining room, perfectly situated for those who like a ‘kid’s table’ and ‘adult’s table’ when dining on holidays! The living room also opens onto the deck. The main bedroom (with TV) has access to both the deck and rear yard; the second bedroom is close by, as is a bathroom (with shower) and separate toilet. There is a third bedroom, plus a gorgeous main bathroom (with large freestanding bath, shower, and toilet), and a laundry. Outdoor Areas Outdoor living is catered for as well, with a shady deck opening off the living room. This delightful space is equipped with a gas BBQ and a quality outdoor setting and leads to the rear yard. There is even an outdoor shower (with hot and cold water) to wash off the sand! Parking is well catered for too, with a double carport and a long driveway with parking for two extra vehicles. Kitchen The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, an Aldi pod coffee machine, soda stream, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, 900mm gas oven with cook top. Heating/Cooling Systems The home is equipped with reverse-cycle split system units in every bedroom plus the living area. Also featured is a relaxing wood fire, complete with fireguard (wood supplied). Bedding Configuration This home has 7 beds, accommodating up to 10 guests: Bedroom 1: One Queen bed Bedroom 2: One Tri-bunk and one King Single bed Bedroom 3: One Tri-bunk and one King Single bed Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it. Linen It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged. Peak Periods Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up. Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
