Extremely peaceful location, loads of wild life right outside your living room window. Beginning of April when we went so the lambs were everywhere, waking up to their baaa’s in the morning was very amusing. Loved taking it back to basics, getting home, getting the log burner going sitting back with a tea/beer staring out the window at the beautiful scenery, listening to the wood cracking and popping. Would definitely recommend for the nature lovers out there. Thank you Alex for having us :)

We loved it here! So peaceful, basic but in the best kind of way. Perfect for a cosy quiet weekend. Fab walks around too!

absolutely fantastic, peaceful, private, cosy and relaxing. not for everyone as so many people need to be glued to phones and tech but if you appreciate nature and basic living then its a luxury. you feel far away from everything yet 15 min drive from the cabin and you can have loads to do in and around Carlisle. highly recommend to anyone👍

Perfect to get away from it all. Beautiful surroundings and very quiet and peaceful. Very little to no phone signal and candles for light at night. There is couple of solar powered light but candles were more cosy. Had a great time reading drawing and just generally catching up with myself.
