A last minute booking for Easter weekend for 4 adults and 2 children, and we had a fantastic time! The house is clean and tidy but also an amazing place for children. My 3yo boy loved the sandpit and the toys that were kindly left out for him to use. Easy walk to the beach and local cafes, good playgrounds close by too. Nice outdoor area that is sheltered from the wind and a hot tub guests can use as well. Great communication from our hosts, messages were answered very quickly. Highly recommend for anyone with children or people wanting a lovely place to stay that is close to the beach.

Claire and James were wonderful hosts, they accommodated an early check in so we could put our baby down for a nap. They were very responsive when we had questions about local amenities and came by when we couldn’t figure out the oven. This space is great for families, lots of fun toys, gear and cutlery/plates for kids. As noted in other reviews, there are neighbours on one side which can be heard in the master bedroom, however I would say this is more due to the proximity of the adjacent home than the neighbours being especially noisy. If you’re a light sleeper ear plugs might be worth packing, overall it wasn’t overly disruptive and we would stay there again.

Thanks for such a great stay! Awesome spot close to beach, supermarket, cafe and pub. The house was clean and tidy. Super friendly hosts, very responsive, helpful and close by to pop in to check on us and make sure everything was ok. 😊
