This was one of the best air bnb experiences of my life. Flakey’s is unique in that it is in the center of the action, yet still feels tranquil and private. The accommodations are comfortable, kitchen is stocked and the host is helpful. But the real bonus is the beer garden, taco truck and nightly music. It was wonderful to grab a delicious beer and taco just a few steps away. Nightly music was great and easily heard from the porch if a day in the sun has you weary of mingling. Mica was our favorite, I believe he plays every Wednesday, and he really captures the vibe of the keys in song. There is a small beach nearby to go for a dip, but other water activities are farther away. All in all, I can’t recommend this place enough. Cheryl has done a wonderful job creating a beautiful space for the community and guests alike

Had an outstanding time in Islamorada. This unit was a great fit for our 7 day stay. The music and ambiance were a special treat. Cheryl was there for us - very helpful and friendly, hope to return next year.

Great time, great home, great location. Our family enjoyed riding bikes all around town, easy trips to the beach, great beer, and having a band play in the back yard as we relaxed at the end of the day.

Spring break at Flakey’s with our two boys that are seniors in high school was amazing! Nightly live music, nearby art studios, watching the hummingbirds in the orchid tree and easy walk down Beach Rd for sunrise were highlights. Definitely visit Robbie’s. We went on a fishing trip with Roman, fed the tarpons and the restaurant was excellent. Take a day trip to Key West to visit the Hemingway House and southernmost point. And highly recommend the Turtle Hospital in Marathon. If interested in tattooing, check out Jellyfish Daydreams. Carlos did ours and was awesome! So many great food choices in the area. We loved sunset dinner at Lorelei’s, Bad Boy Burrito (excellent sushi), Lazy Days, Midway Cafe for breakfast and of course, the taco truck next door. Cheryl was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay! Check in and out was very easy. Loved our visit and can’t wait to return to the Keys!
