Our family of 6 had a great time at Debra’s house. The views were incredible. The road is very windy and we got a little lost but eventually made it! Make sure to bring plenty of food and everything you need and fill up with gas since once you’re there there is nothing around. Bring what you need for your entire stay including shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as there wasn’t any. The house was immaculate and the beds were warm and cozy. The wood burning fire kept us toasty and the place has a homey feeling. Her dog Zoe is so sweet and the kids loved going kayaking, paddle boarding and jumping off the dock then warming up in the hot tub. The kids also loves the games room and it kept them occupied when we needed to cook/clean. We did the many trails on the property and they were the perfect length for kids- very steep drop off but easy enough terrain. It is a great place to get away from the city, relax, not get into a car and enjoy the magical views. We will hopefully be back!

Absolutely incredible place to stay, worth the long drive in. Friendly, helpful hosts and a pig that'll take care of all of your food scraps.

There's a part of me that would prefer not to let the rest of the world know what an amazing experience we had staying at the Waterfall Cabin in Waitata Bay, just so we could increase our chances of it having availability the next time we can use it for a get-away or an extended holiday. The word "wow" was the most frequent word of the week, beginning with our initial walk around the cabin, then more times for the property, the view, the game room, and the amenities, to name just a few. We were spoiled from the start; everything in the cabins - every window, door, lock, gate - everything fit together and worked. Everything was clean, and ready for us, down to the details of the propane tank and the grill. Without reservation, I would highly recommend this property, and would wholeheartedly give it a sixth star if I could. Fantastic experience all around, and well worth the drive to get there.

Beautiful surroundings and excellent accommodation. Kids especially loved the pool table and friendly animals.
