I stayed at Astrid’s house for two weeks. It is a lovely house, very clean and well appointed. The Master bedroom was on the second floor, the bed was comfy and the bathroom had a large tub and shower. Looks exactly like the pictures. The kitchen was nice and she even left some Nespresso pods and tea so I could have my coffee in the morning. It was very convenient for me as bus transportation was basically right out the front door. From this house you can get to Utrecht, which is a lovely city, very easily. If you are looking for something more peaceful you can walk to a park via a walking trail. You could also bike or take a bus into Bunnik which is a nice little city with restaurants, and a shopping area. Astrid was very responsive, she gave me her cell phone number in case I needed anything. On the first night I had a small problem with the lock and she came over and helped me very quickly. I travel to the Netherlands a few times a year, I will probably stay there on my next trip.

Astrid ‘ s house was very cosy and very nicely furnished, Indonesian style of the furniture was interesting and beautiful. House is comfortable for 5 people and gives enough space and privacy. Interesting places are close - Rotterdam, Haag, Utrecht, Amsterdam and it is possible to visit it but you need a car. Astrid and her husband are very friendly and nice people, they stayed very close to the house but you still have enough privacy. They prepared also welcome wine for us after our arrival which was very pleasant and appreciated by us. Definitely recommended for vacation in suburb nevertheless close to big cities! I hope to return some day.

Astrid has a lovely house and a beautiful tropical garden. Great location for exploring Utrecht - perfect for a family holiday!

Erg aardige host en een zeer geschikt huis voor mijn teamgenoten uit India om te verblijven tijdens hun bezoek aan Nederland. Ze waren zo in Utrecht met de bus en de omgeving van het huis biedt zowel een kijkje in de geschiedenis van ons land (waterlinie) als ook mooie natuur. Erg mooie meubels en tuin. Winkels zijn wat verder weg om te lopen (20 minuten). Een fiets ter beschikking was erg handig geweest, maar dat kunnen gasten natuurlijk ook zelf regelen.
