this was just what I needed. the morning view was so refreshing. the grounds were very beautiful and well kept. my walk was so peaceful. the birds were all beautiful, especially the peacocks. waking up to the sounds of the roosters made me think of the old days when life was so simple and worry free. I loved that country feeling. the river was a nice walk as well even though it was to many stairs for me, but I will definitely be going back again. Geoffrey and kim were also so helpful in reassuring that I was ok during my stay and so helpful. thank you for sharing your place with me. see you all next year!

I went to Jamaica for 7 days, but unfortunately, my father passed away on my second day, and I had to return to Canada. Nonetheless, I had a great time at this location; it's very clean, and if you enjoy nature, it's perfect for you! Geoffrey is extremely kind and accommodating, as well as his friends Kevin and Kim who oversee the location; they're all very kind. I plan to return to Jamaica to continue my stay. I highly recommend it if you love nature.

What a generous host and wonderful crew. Geoffrey arranged an airport pickup and was great to online chat with (it was easy to let him know of our flight delay and other info). He invited us to watch birds with a fresh coconut on our first (of three) evenings. Was lovely to meet him and every conversation was interesting. Gave us quail eggs (tiny) and showed us emu eggs (dinosaur size) he was cleaning for Easter. Beautiful, rustic estate with a lot of thought into attracting wildlife and scenery. Especially enjoyed the butterfly garden up the hill, and the downhill path following the river (bugs were hungry; our natural repellent worked fine). If you want to enjoy nature in peace, and don't need much handholding, this is your place. Great wifi, comfy bed, perfectly rustic and exactly as pictured.
