Great location in Lugano!

Ideal room for a solo traveller. I checked in with the helpful Hotel Acquarello staff and was given a complimentary block of Swiss chocolate and a Ticino Ticket for free public transport. Great location - right in Lugano town, surrounded by shops and restaurants, Lugano Stazione Funicular just outside, 2 min walk to town square and the lakefront. The room was compact but had everything required, and was also clean. I stayed on the 5th floor and there was lift access. Complimentary breakfast was provided each day in the first floor dining area. A downside of proximity to the funicular is the noise - a low rumble every few minutes from morning to late, but this isn't a problem if you're used to city noise or out exploring most of the day! Overall, a great experience and excellent value for money. I would stay here again! Thanks Jean-Marc and the Hotel Acquarello team!

Fantastic hotel in a perfect location in Lugano. Room was very clean, breakfast was great, staff was friendly and responsive. Ideal accommodation for a solo traveler. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Great location. Super friendly and helpful staff! I was given a ticket for free transport which was great. The funicular right outside entrance takes to you up to the train station which is idea as its a steep walk with a suitcase! I stayed in a single room which was perfect, the room and bathroom was spotless and comfortable.

All clean, all clear. close to the city center and to the train station, it's small but just as described in the pictures. It's perfect for short periods.
