We had a short 2 night stay and it was magical. Unfortunately it was raining the whole time we were there, but we didn't feel bored even for a bit. Living rooms are so cozy and you can enjoy the view of the lake and the surroundings from there with coffee in your hand. This place is highly recommended if you want to spend some quality time with friends and family. Definitely going back in the summer
C’est une maison hyper spacieuse et très confortable que nous avons particulièrement aimé. La vue panoramique sur le lac et le paysage permettent de profiter de la magnifique campagne environnante sous toutes les lumières et météos qu’offrent le connemara … c’est magnifique !
What can we say, the views and surroundings on arrival were truly breathtaking. Rhona was such a wonderful host and had everything ready for us. Communication was perfect and check in was easy and informative. The house is beautiful and so roomy and luxurious, there is literally no negative comments possible. Beds were super comfy and bathrooms squeaky clean (and loads of them!) We felt so relaxed the whole time. Day one the weather was on our side, the kids ran feral in the woods and swam like fish in the lake. We brought our own canoes and made use of the boat house, it was literally a dream. Next day we ventured into Clonbur and Cong, there are some great pubs to visit for a Guinness or two! Day three and storm Kathleen hit! There are certainly worse places to be stuck in a storm! We snuggled in, read books, played games and drank our duty free! I could literally sit in that conservatory and look out at the views in any weather, it was glorious. Thank you for a perfect holiday!
