Excellent place to stay for a family holiday. Private, peaceful and close enough to nearby towns and attractions. The pool especially was a standout. Hosts were communicative and provided helpful instructions and recommendations. Having a car is a must, but it is well worth the trip up the hill to the accommodation. Would definitely recommend!

Alcantara Villa is a beautiful, modern architectural masterpiece set in the most gorgeous and peaceful rural setting. The location is private and quiet... And the POOL was so awesome! The location is nestled in between some great restaurants and quaint little towns, so getting what you need is a simple 15-30 min drive. You will most definitely need a rental vehicle, preferably 4WD, with full coverage. It's a tricky drive up and down the hill. The wifi was a little spotty but expected in such a rural area. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. The villa was perfect to rest and recharge. What a memorable vacation! We fell in love with the beauty of Sicily and the warmth of its people. We will most certainly be back!

Heerlijk verblijf gehad. Ook het contact met Giulia was prettig. Kamers waren ruim en schoon. We verbleven 5 nachten met 4 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Er was voor iedereen voldoende ruimte. Wij ervaarde eigenlijk als enige minpunt hetzelfde als de recensies van andere gasten dat apparatuur en het huis wel wat verouderd is. Verder zorg dat je een auto hebt die geschikt is voor een smalle hobbelige bergweg voor het laatste stukje omhoog. Wij zouden zeker nog een keertje terug komen wanneer weer de puntjes op de i zijn geplaatst in het huis.

My friend and I enjoyed so much our stay at this house, it felt like proper holidays, it was quiet, in the middle of the nature, everything you need to recharge the battery! Thank you for everything it was a pleasure !
