Great time in Breckenridge for Christmas. Great location, walk out door, get on lift, great hot tub for adults, 21 and up, and kids. Indoor pool. Movie theaters were a plus!

My family of 3 had an absolutely wonderful stay here. We usually stay off mountain, however decided to treat ourselves this trip with on mountain lodging when we saw the listing, and realized it was too good to be true- especially since we decided on our trip so last minute. The Grand Lodge's staff are all very friendly, accommodating, helpful and care enough to take Covid precautions seriously. The place is impeccably cleaned- down to the floors/carpeting (we don't wear shoes in the home, so checked). Kitchen is well stocked with appliances, accessories, gadgets, vessels to fully enjoy cooked in meals. We were a party of 3, so had plenty of space, but it could be tight for a party of 8 adults. It would still be comfortable for a party of 6 of adults. Its very easy to get on mountain. Many on mountain lodging still requires you to take a small chair or a small walk to actually get on mountain, however the independence chair was literally outside the door. There is also a locker area that each unit gets to place your snow gear overnight in, which we found extremely convenient! The gondola is also right outside the lodge if we needed to go to town (beats having to drive into town and look for parking). We barely used our car because the location was so ideal. One evening (after 9pm), we had an issue with our washer and the staff promptly came to fix it. We weren't expecting any attention until the following day. wow! There was a mix up/miscommunication between the host and The Grand Lodge during our stay regarding usual check-out and check-in and the units the host owns. We believe the confusion could have been avoided if the host had been more clear with The Grand Lodge regarding our booking, however the staff very promptly went out of his way to remedy the issue and avoided further inconvenience. (We had booked our stay for longer than the typical week window). We had an amazing stay-- have been spoiled by the convenience, lovely staff and the accomodations. We realize we most likely lucked out on scoring the place due to Covid (people traveling less and all), but hope we are lucky enough to book it again in the future!

Abdala was a great host and was extremely prompt at responding to any and all communication. The place was awesome and the resort put us in a remote location with no noise from anyone. The amenities were incredible and the location is superb in regards to ski in ski out location. I'd stay here again anytime and look forward to coming back again in the future.
